Rachel Yoka is the Vice President of Program Development for IPI, leading the organization in the areas of technology, research, data analytics, and industry accreditation and certification. Rachel serves as the lead at IPI for the Accredited Parking Organization (APO) program, which recognizes excellence in parking organizations according to comprehensive standards.
Rachel served as editor and an author in the publication on sustainability and parking design titled, “Sustainable Parking Design and Management: A Practitioner’s Handbook.” Prior to joining IPI staff in 2014, she was selected as the “Parking Professional of the Year”. She has spearheaded the sustainability movement in the parking industry – leading the development of the first industry-specific rating system for sustainability in parking structures. A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, she has held positions in consulting, engineering, architecture, and construction firms.
