Great universities are laboratories for professors, students and and practitioners to create our future. Not surprisingly, they are at the cutting edge of thinking about how we can move beyond the single occupant vehicle to sustainable forms of mobility for all.

Cornell, Stanford, ASU and others are taking to heart futurist Buckminster Fuller's advice: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
